But while most visitors to South Beach only scratch the surface, we’ll go deeper. Your guide will lead you into the little-known Española Way – a historic Spanish village alive with restaurants, bars, ice cream and cigar shops - through its pedestrian cobblestone streets and charming old-world Mediterranean architecture.
You will go on a journey to the past through courtyards and alleyways, while listening to amazing stories of the rich and famous of Miami Beach. You will learn of the underworld who made Española Way their home during Prohibition, enter Al Capone’s gambling headquarters, snap pictures of Hollywood film locations featuring Española Way - such as Miami Vice and The Birdcage - and see firsthand the layers upon layers of history from the trendy rooftop of a historic hotel.
Next, it’s onto one of the most impressive food halls in Miami: Lincoln Eatery. An incredible dining and cultural experience, the food hall packs 11 restaurants, a café and a bar under one roof. We will step inside the market where you will find the most delicious dishes in Miami by talented chefs ranging from authentic Japanese to Peruvian cuisine. You will find it less crowded than usual thanks to our afternoon visit on your Miami Vice walking tour, so you will have the chance to browse each food booth at your own pace discovering the local Miami food scene.
After the tour, you will have a chance to come back to the market for lunch and sample everything you want to eat and drink.
