Few things give us more joy in life than biting into a warm and flaky croissant, a chewy cookie or freshly baked bread. Whatever kind of baked goods you’re into, our roundup of the best bakeries in Miami Beach is ready to make all of your carb-loving dreams come true.
Here are Miami Beach’s best bakeries serving an assortment of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, sandwiches, hot foods and great coffee perfect for breakfast, lunch, brunch or a light bite.

Located in the heart of Sunset Harbour, True Loaf is a prime spot for bread, pastries and sandwiches, including one of the best almond croissants in town. Their specialty are the wholesome organic loaves of bread, from multigrain to olive, and from honey oatmeal to cranberry walnut. Our insider tip is to order the fresh-made Morning Buns and Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie. And make sure you don’t miss out on their fresh Challah every Friday. This place can get crowded on weekends, and there’s not much seating but you can order to go and have a picnic at the lovely waterfront park Maurice Gibb Memorial Park just a block away.
729 5th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Buon Pane is a small, casual Italian bakery in South Beach that we love for a pre- or post- beach snack. The counter offers freshly baked Italian food including pizza, very good panino napoletano, fresh ciabatta and bombolini. It’s all pretty affordable and just five blocks walking distance to the beach.
1112 15th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Maison Valentine is a French patisserie in South Beach making our favorite French pastries in Miami Beach. They have baguettes and croissants but you come here for the sweet stuff. Their lime green Key West dessert features a pistachio financier, vanilla cream, lemon and white chocolate ganache. They have a display case with the most beautiful shaped pastries and macarons.
929 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
1666 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
This is an Italian café chain whose flagship space is in Miami Beach. At any of the half a dozen locations, you’ll find a similar lineup of super-authentic fare, think strawberry tiramisu, Nutella bomboloni, creamy fruit tarts and filled croissants. Everything is baked by a pastry chef recruited from Italy. You can choose anything from the glass counter on display from sandwiches to pizza, focaccia, sweets and various pastry.
760 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139
This Italian café is a hidden gem in plain sight. It’s at the corner of Ocean Drive and 8th Street with a great view of the beach promenade. It’s a tiny little place with indoor seating for about 7-8 people and some outdoor seating. They have a good selection of baked and breakfast items, smoothies, shakes, fresh juices, sandwiches, pastas, paninis and salads, and a large selection of coffee and other beverages. The croissants are great. They have a special offer of 15% off the total of any order of $15 or more between 10AM and 11:30AM Monday-Friday.
